The different parameter indications will be displayed on the LCD. For the Designing of such a car dashboard we are going to show the indications of car parameters like temperature, speed, rain fall ranges and fuel levels with voice feedback during car driving to the driver.
The voice annunciation is important because while driving, driver may not pay much attention towards the display since he is concentrating on the driving, but the voice announcement will let him hear about the alerts directly through the car speakers thereby reducing time and increasing efficiency of the system. Thus this system acts as a real time accident monitoring system.Moreover the system has an added feature i.e a gas sensor which detects the LPG leakage for using it at bullet tankers and thus if any gas leakage occurs it will send an alert SMS and a warning alarm for the driverĪ dashboard is a control panel placed in front of the driver of an automobile, housing instrumentation and controls for operation of the vehicle. When there is any extra ordinary inclination or collisions an ALARM will be activated at the dash board panel if the alarm is not deactivated manually with in a pre defined period as SMS will be send to a centralized location which will contain the location and time vehicle. A micro controller is used to control all the activities of the system. Accelerometer gives analog voltages corresponding to the inclinations in XYZ axes. Accelerometer is an analog type MEMS sensor. The base vehicle will be equipped with an accelerometer. This system utilizes the GPS network to extract the co-ordinates, speed of the vehicle and the time. The project is a combination of GPS and GSM systems to form a real time traffic monitoring system. Experimental results illuminate the validity of this car security system. This system prototype is built on the base of one embedded platform ARM7 which controls all the processes. When one car is lost, no more feedback could be available to help people to find it back. Traditional car security systems depends on many sensors and cost is also high.
At the same time, the amount of car lost is also increasing. In today’s world, many new techniques such as biometric recognition technique, image processing technique, communication technique and so on, have been integrated into car security systems. The other modules transmit necessary information to users and help to keep eyes on cars all the time, even when the car is lost. The face detection subsystem can detect faces in cars during the period in which nobody should be in the car, and make an alarm loudly or soundlessly. The main aim of this project is to offer an advance security system in CAR, which consists of a face detection subsystem, a GPS module, a GSM module and a control platform.
